Enfield Fire Protection District responded to 14 calls in 2018 - 44 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Enfield included 14 fires - five structure fires, two vehicle fires and seven other fires.

In all, the department saw $29,000 in fire loss - or about $2,071 per fire.
