Bone Gap Rural Fire Protection District responded to four calls in 2018 - 50 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Bone Gap Rural included four fires - one structure fire, one vehicle fire and two other fires.

In all, the department saw $130,000 in fire loss - or about $32,500 per fire.
