Wayne-White Counties Electric Co-Op issued the following announcement on Oct 10.
December 31st is the deadline for area High School students to apply for a $2,000 College Scholarship from the Electric Cooperatives of Illinois to be used at the college of their choice to study & pursue what they desire. There are (12) total scholarships to be awarded, each worth $2,000. You cannot win if you don't enter.
If you have a son or daughter, or grandson or granddaughter who is a HS Senior, encourage them to apply. Here is the LINK with all the information and the online application.
