WATSON FUNERAL HOME - ELDORADO: Jean White

Watson Funeral Home - Eldorado recently issued the following announcement.

Jean White, 91 of Eldorado passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

Jean was born in Eldorado on September 12, 1929 to the late Emil and Ruth (Jones) Choisser. She was a member of Star Church. Jean worked as a secretary in the Eldorado School System spending most of her at Hillcrest Elementary and then the General Assistance office until retirement. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for many years.

On April 17, 1949 she married Kenneth Fox and he proceeded her in death on September 6, 1960. She married Charles White on November 7, 1974 and he proceeded her in death on August 31, 2007. She is survived by her children Betty (Wyatt) Drake of Harrisburg, IL, Alan Fox of Eldorado, IL, Sarah (Dan) Schuering of Springfield, IL, Ruth Fox of Broken Arrow, OK, Abe (Kick) White of Raleigh, IL and Jim (Mary) White of Tulsa, OK, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, sister Betty Mitchell of Eldorado, IL, brother Jim (Hallie) Choisser of Sherwood, AR and several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 there will be a private graveside service at Wolf Creek Cemetery, Eldorado, IL with internment at Wolf Creek. The Reverend Aaron Phelps from Star Church will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Choisser’s Kitchen c/o Sally Bassinger 380 Country Acres Rd, Eldorado, IL 62930, Star Church Youth Group c/o Ryan Berry, 671 Old Broughton Road, Eldorado, IL 62930, or the American Stroke Association 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas TX 75231 .
