City of Madison City Council Met Feb. 22.

The City Council meeting was called to order by Mayor John Hamm at 6:00 p.m., Voice vote as follows: eight (8) ayes; no nays. Absent: none. Motion carried. Followed by a request for roll call. Present were Alderpersons Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner Absent: none
All present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
It was moved by Alderman Riskovsky seconded by Alderman Crochrell, to approve the minutes of the regular Council meeting held on February 1, 2021. Voice vote as follows: eight (8) ayes; no nays. Absent: none. Motion carried.
It was moved by Alderman Vrabec, seconded by Alderperson Bridick, to approve the presentation of the Comptroller's Report as submitted for 239,408.20 Roll call vote as follows: Ayes: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner. Nays: None. Absent: none. Motion carried.
It was moved by Alderman Bridick seconded by Alderman Hampsey to approved appointment to the Library boards. Eunica Stanley and Thomas Paskus Voice vote as follows: eight (8) ayes; no nays. Absent: none. Motion carried.

It was moved by Alderperson Bridick, seconded by Alderperson Hampsey to approve all cost of deeding lots for 2x4 for Hope. Voice vote as follows: eight (8) ayes; no nays; Absent: none. Motion carried.
It was moved by Alderperson Vrabec, seconded by Alderperson Hampsey to purchase house 1916 6th St from Joe Costellp for $50,000. Roll call vote as follows: Ayes: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner. Nays: None. Absent: none. Motion carried.
It was moved by Alderperson Vrabec, seconded by Alderperson Hampsey to purchase Snow box from Erb Equipment Roll call vote as follows: Ayes: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner. Nays: None. Absent: none. Motion carried.
It was moved by Alderperson Hampsey seconded by Alderperson Crochrell to approve deeding the property attached to 2x4 for Hope with the conveyance if nothing is built within one year lot come back to the city Roll call vote as follows: Ayes: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner. Nays: None. Absent: none. Motion carried.
It was moved by Alderperson Hampsey, seconded by Alderperson Riskovsy to accept the recommendation from the zoning board regarding 1101 Greenwood to B2. Roll call vote as follows: Ayes: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner. Nays: None. Absent: none. Motion carried
It was moved by Alderper Hampsey seconded by Alderperson Crochrell to rezone 1101 Greenwood to B2 from R-1 Followed by a request for roll call. Present were Alderpersons Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner. Absent: none. Motion carried.

It was moved by Alderperson Bridick seconded by Hampsey to approve a resolution to inducement between city and 360 group within River Edge TIF area Followed by a request for roll call. Present were Alderpersons Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner. Absent: none. Motion carried.
It was moved by Alderperson Vrabec seconded by Hampsey to approve a resolution Inducement between city and 2x4 to Hope within Rivers Edge TIF area. Followed by a request for roll call. Present were Alderpersons Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky , Haynes and Gardner. Absent: none. Motion carried.
Mayor Reports Car lot on 2nd Street not doing anything. City to buy back land we sold them. We will clean up and resurface lot. Followed by a request for roll call. Present were Alderpersons Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner. Absent: none. Motion carried.
There being no executive session of no other business to come before the council, it was moved by Alderperson Haynes, seconded by Alderman Hampsey to adjourned to meeting. Voice vote as follows: eight (8) ayes; no nays. Absent: none Motion carried.
