City of Madison City Council Met March 1.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

The City Council meeting was called to order by Mayor John Hamm at 6:00 p.m., Follow by request for roll call. Present were Alderpersons Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner Absent none

All present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

It was moved by Alderman Riskovsky, seconded by Alderman Crochrell, to approve the minutes of the regular Council meeting held on March 1,2021 Voice vote as follow Eight (8) ayes; no nays. Absent none Motion carried.

It was moved by Alderman Vrabec, seconded by Alderperson Bridick, to approve the presentation of the Comptroller's Report as submitted and that bills be allowed as drawn on the treasury and presented to the Council, unless there are any questions of the Summary of Expenses for the period of February 15, 2021 through March 1, 2021 in the amount of $197070.04 The Comptroller's Report was accepted as presented, to be placed on file. Roll call vote as follows: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner Absent none Motion Carried

Mayor Hamm sworn in New Office Robert Warren

Report by Dee Miller he will be breaking ground soon also going to use the recreation center for storage for $100 dollars a month. It was moved by alderman Riskovsky and second by Alderman Crochrell. Roll call vote as follows: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner Absent none Motion Carried

No reports from Department Offices

It was moved by Alderman Hampsey, seconded Alderman Vrabec for Patrick Smith to us the Recreation center for Dance practice. Followed by a request for roll call. Roll call vote as follows: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner Absent none Motion Carried

It was moved by Alderman Haynes, seconded by Alderman Bridick to accept resignation of Telecommunicator James Velloff. Motion carried. Followed by a request for roll call. Roll call vote as follows: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner Absent none Motion Carried

It was moved by Alderman Haynes, seconded by Bridick to replace full time Telecommunicator voice vote as follow by (8) ayes, no nays. Absent none Motion carried.

It was moved by Alderman Haynes, seconded by Alderman Bridick to accept the Resignation of city Attorney Ronald S. Motil. voice vote as follow by (8) ayes, no nays. Absent none Motion carried.

It was moved by Alderman Vrabec, seconded by Alderperson Jenkins to the Swearing in Officer Robert Warren Followed by a request for roll call. Present were Alderpersons Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner

It was moved by Alderman Vrabec, seconded by Alderperson Jenkins to appoint Tonya Genovese to set in for Ronald Motil Followed by a request for roll call. Roll call vote as follows: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner Absent none Motion Carried

It was moved by Alderperson Hampsey seconded by Alderperson Bridick to suspend Rule 38 of ordinance #549 voice vote as follow by (8) ayes, no nays. Absent none Motion carried.

It was moved was moved to Enact and Adopt code of Ordinance S-13 Supplement form American Legal Publishing Motion carried. Followed by a request for roll call. Roll call vote as follows: Jenkins, Bridick, Vrabec, Hampsey, Crochrell, Riskovsky, Haynes and Gardner Absent none Motion Carried

There being no executive session of no other business to come before the council, it was moved by Alderman Crochrell, seconded by Alderman Riskovsky to adjourned to meeting at 6:18.

Voice vote as follows: eight (8) ayes; no nays. Absent: none Motion carried.
