Eldorado Community Unit School District #4 Board of Education Met April 9.

The Board of Education of Eldorado C.U.S.D. #4 met for a special session in the High School Cafeteria. Board President, David Bartok, called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Board members present and answering roll call were: David Bartok, Ron Bradley, Bryce Hampton and Grant Loudy. Absent: Austin Bradley, Preston Justice and Keith Oglesby. Present: Supt. Ryan Hobbs, Cody Cusic and Michelle Bradley, recording secretary. Others: Miranda Cain (EEA).
David Bartok made a motion to go into closed session at 5:01 p.m. regarding the appointment, employment, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body. Bryce Hampton seconded the motion. Roll call vote taken and motion carried. Voting yes: Bartok, Ron Bradley, Bryce Hampton and Grant Loudy. Voting no: None. Absent: Austin Bradley, Preston Justice and Keith Oglesby.
The board came out of closed session at 5:10 p.m.
David Bartok made a motion to approve closed session minutes as read in closed session. Bryce Hampton seconded the motion. Roll call vote taken and motion carried. Voting yes: Bartok, Ron Bradley, Hampton and Loudy. Voting no: None. Absent: Austin Bradley, Preston Justice and Keith Oglesby.
David Bartok made a motion to adopt the Resolution authorizing dismissal of full time teacher, Kathryn Kennedy, in last year of probationary service (Ref to Doc Reg JJ-3-23). Bryce Hampton seconded the motion. Roll call vote taken and motion carried. Voting yes: Bartok, Ron Bradley, Bryce Hampton and Grant Loudy. Voting no: None. Absent: Austin Bradley, Preston Justice and Keith Oglesby.
David Bartok made a motion to adopt the Resolution authorizing non re-employment of full time, non tenured teacher, Samantha Cummins, not in last year of probationary service. (Ref to Doc Reg JJ-3-24). Grant Loudy seconded the motion. Roll call vote taken and motion carried. Voting yes: Bartok, Ron Bradley, Bryce Hampton and Grant Loudy. Voting no: None. Absent: Austin Bradley, Preston Justice and Keith Oglesby.
Grant Loudy made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:11 p.m. Bryce Hampton seconded the motion. Roll call vote taken and motion carried. Voting yes: Bartok, Ron Bradley, Hampton and Loudy. Voting no: None. Absent: Austin Bradley, Preston Justice and Keith Oglesby.
