Press release submission issued the following announcement on Aug. 27

British Airways and British Airways Holidays have launched a sale, with reductions made across a range of flights and holidays all the way into the summer of 2022.

The sale is running until 21 September 2021. Whether reuniting with loved ones, taking a long weekend break, indulging in some Mediterranean sunshine or embarking on the holiday of a lifetime, there are big savings to be made for travel across the globe.

It comes as British Airways Holidays announces the extension of its VIP airport offer, which is now available on travel up until 31 March 2022. Every customer spending a minimum of £1,500pp on holiday packages for a minimum of five nights, will automatically qualify for Galleries Club Lounge access, premium check-in, Fast Track Security and priority boarding if departing from London Heathrow Terminal 5. This offer also applies to those bookings that have already been made.

Return British Airways flights available in the sale include Dubai from £299, New York from £329, San Francisco from £348 and Miami from £339.

Those booking holiday packages (flight + hotel) with British Airways Holidays can enjoy seven nights in Orlando from £439pp or three nights in New York from £429pp. Seven-night Caribbean holidays are available to Barbados from £579pp and Mauritius from £649pp. Closer to home, seven-night European favourites such as Mallorca are available from £199pp, Malta from £199pp and Madeira from £229pp. Those jetting off to Dubai can enjoy three nights from £379pp.

All bookings will fall under British Airways’ and British Airways Holidays' ongoing flexible booking policies, allowing customers to rearrange their trip free of charge before 31 August 2022* for the utmost confidence and security. Holiday packages can be secured with deposits from £60pp, with the final balance due up to three weeks before travel.

Claire Bentley, Managing Director of British Airways Holidays, said: “With optimism about future holidays continuing to grow, we know that many of our customers are keen to get back to travelling.

“This sale is about giving as much choice as possible to those who are preparing to get away, whether in the near future or next year. We recognise that there’s still an element of uncertainty, which is why we recently extended our flexible booking policy. Low deposits on holidays and free amendments or cancellations offer the kind of peace of mind that we know our customers need.”

British Airways has introduced a range of safety measures and partnerships to make the travel experience simple and enjoyable during and after the pandemic. Most recently, a new interactive map was launched on ba.com in partnership with Sherpa, which has developed an online tool to provide travellers with the latest travel rules for inbound and outbound destinations.

British Airways also has partnerships with a range of testing providers, cleaning mobile travel health app VeriFly and cleaning brand Dettol. BA also allows customers travelling to selected destinations to upload their negative Covid-19 test results and other travel declaration forms directly into their booking on the airline’s website ba.com, in advance of travel.
