Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Mayor Chad May called the regular meeting of the McLeansboro City Council to order. Roll call: Don Cox, Tom Maulding, Billy Glenn, Tom Murk, Sharon Bowman, were present.

Mr. Glenn made the MOTION TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCE (#21-1065) FOR THE ANNUALAPPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF MCLEANSBORO FOR THE FISCAL YEARBEGINNING MAY 1, 2021 AND ENDING APRIL 30, 2022, second Mr. Murk. Roll Call: Glenn, Murk, Cox, Maulding Bowman. Ayesm5,Nay~-0. Motion passed.

Mr. Murk made a MOTION TO ADOPT AN ORDIANANCE (#21-1066) REGARDING THEINTERGOVENMENTAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT OF GAS UTILITIES AND THECITY OF MCLEANSBORO, second Mr. Cox. Roll Call: Murk, Cox, Maulding, Glenn, Bowman. Ayes ~~ 5, Nay - 0. Motion passed.

Mr. Glenn made a MOTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION #21-06 APPROVFNG ADDITIONALMATERIAL FOR MFT PROJECTS IN 2021, second Mrs. Bowman. Roll Call: Glenn, Bowman, Cox, Maulding, Murk. Ayes - 5, Nay ~ 0. Motion passed.

Mr. Cox made a MOTION TO ADOPT REVISIONS TO RESOLUTION 21-05 REGARDINGTHE FALL FESTIVAL PARADE PERMIT, second Mr. Glenn. Roll Call: Cox, Glenn, Maulding, Murk, Bowman. Ayes - 5, Nay - 0. Motion passed. At approximately 6:40PM, Mr. Murk made a MOTION TO ENTER EXECUTIVE SESSION, second Mr. Cox. Roll Call: Murk, Cox, Glenn, Maulding, Bowman, Ayes- 5, Nay - 0.Motion passed.

At approximately 7:05PM Mr. Moulding made a MOTION TO RETURN TO REGULARSESSION, second Mr. Cox. Roll Call; Mauldmg, Cox Glenn, Murk, Bowman. Ayes - 5, Nay0. Motion passed.

Mr. Murk made a MOTION TO HIRE RODNEY BROCK FOR A WATER DEPARTMENTPOSITION, WITH A START DATE TO BE DETERMINED, second Mr. Maulding. Roll Call: Murk, Moulding, Cox, Glenn, Bowman. Ayes - 5, Nay ~ 0. Motion passed. Mr. Cox made a MOTION TO HIRE JUSTIN LUEKE FOR A WATER DEPARTMENTPOSITION, WITH A START DATE TO BE DETERMLNTED, second Mr. Murk. Roll Call: Cox, Murk, Maulding, Glenn, Bowman. Having completed City business, Mr. Glenn made a MOTION TO ADJOURN, second Mr. Moulding. A voice vote was taken without dissent. Meeting Adjourned.
