Q2 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Edwards County?

There were three offenders living in Edwards County released on parole during the second quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SE Illinois News.

The data shows all of the released offenders in Edwards County were men. The median age of the parolees was 31. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019, and the oldest was a 38-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2015.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Bradly L. Beehn. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when he was 32 years old. He is now 38.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2021 in each Edwards County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
