Harrisburg City Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 16
On Tuesday November 16th 2021, at about 11:40pm, the Harrisburg Police responded to the area of Evergreen and Swatara Streets for a report of a person that had been shot. Upon arrival officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. An investigation into the incident was initiated, and is ongoing at this time.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Harrisburg Police at 717-558-6900. Tips and information can also be submitted via the CRIMEWATCH website. A Crime Stoppers reward may be eligible for information pertaining to this incident.
