Village of Smithton Committee as a Whole met Feb. 8.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Mayor Smallwood called the meeting to order at 7:14pm at Village Hall. Trustees Rogers, Elbe, Henning, Mourey, Hopkins and Supervisor Klein were in attendance. Trustees Becherer was absent.

BUDGET

Mayor Smallwood reported that this will be added to the next Committee As a Whole agenda when Trustee Becherer is present.

PICKUP TRUCKS

Supervisor Klein reported that they have two vehicles that need to be replaced. Discussion was had about what type of truck is needed and different options to purchase. It was requested for Klein to get a state bid and present it to the board for their consideration.

TOW FEES

Mayor Smallwood reported that Attorney Durso has provided an ordinance draft for review. A motion will be made at next meeting.

BUILDING CODES

Mayor Smallwood reported that the board has been provided a memo from Engineer Saeger and a draft ordinance from Attorney Durso for review. More discussion will be had before finalizing the ordinance.

Mayor Smallwood reported on the updated information that Attorney Durso has provided about the following property.

GENERATOR

Trustee Hopkins reported that two bids have been provided for the regulators. Funk Heating and Cooling provided a bid at $400 And BEL-O’s bid came to the amount of $1300.

Trustee Rogers made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Elbe to adjourn. All were in favor. Motion was granted. Meeting adjourned at 8:23m.
