Crossroads Bank to be recognized as 2022 Business of the Year

Grow Wabash County is thrilled to announce that Crossroads Bank has been selected as the 2022 Business of the Year and will be honored during Grow Wabash County’s Annual Dinner Celebration on Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Honeywell Center.

“It is always an honor to take time every year to celebrate the businesses that have been champions, not only of Grow Wabash County, but of Wabash County at large,” Keith Gillenwater, president and CEO of Grow Wabash County, said. “Crossroads Bank is the very definition of community champion. They are a pillar in the Wabash County community. Their support for programs and organizations all around the county have proven them to be at the front of the charge to grow a more prosperous Wabash County.”

The first office of Crossroads Bank opened on Wabash Street in 1920. In 1960, the office moved to Market Street and in 1982 moved to its current location on Cass Street. Since opening its doors in 1920, Crossroads has held itself to a tradition of providing the products, services and superior customer service to best aid their customers and the communities they serve.

Crossroads takes pride in being able to accept leadership roles in the ongoing development of our communities. They know that their contributions – whether financial or theirour time – help to build and foster better communities in which to live, work and raise families. Crossroads Bank is committed to the needs of its neighbors – and it is a very important part of who they are. They are involved and they are hands-on. They are responsive and connected and proud to give back. This community is where your bank and your life meet.

Today, Crossroads has also established offices in Columbia City, North Manchester, Peru, South Whitley, Syracuse, and Warsaw.

“From the day we first opened our doors on South Wabash Street, Crossroads Bank was invested in being a part of the community,” Roger Cromer, president and CEO of Crossroads Bank, said. “Today, over 100 years later, the tradition holds strong, and the roots grow deeper. We are deeply honored to accept the 2022 Business of the Year award on behalf of our team members who have served our communities with integrity and pride.”
