Rep. Adam Niemerg (R-Teutopolis) was recently honored by The Illinois Farm Bureau’s ACTIVATOR political action committee.
"It’s an honor to receive the 2022 ACTIVATOR Friend of Agriculture Award from the Illinois Farm Bureau," Niemerg posted on Facebook. “I ran on a commitment to support agriculture and I have made it a point to deliver on that commitment. I am grateful to the Illinois Farm Bureau for this award.”
According to its website, "ACTIVATOR helps us elect candidates who work for our interests in Washington and Springfield. ACTIVATOR builds strong relationships with legislators and helps us achieve our legislative priorities."
The PAC recently posted a list of all its political endorsements.
In September, Niemerg made the news speaking out about what he sees as problems with the Safety, Accountability, Fairness and Equity-Today (SAFE-T) Act and how it will affect crime when the cash bail system is abolished.
