City of Carmi City Council met Jan. 17.

5:10 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ZONING OF 201 STEWART STREET

5:20 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING MOBILE HOME PERMIT 803 7TH STREET

1. Call to order by Mayor Pollard, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Roll Call.

3. Approve January 3, 2023, Council Meeting Minutes

4. Approve December 2022 Financial Reports for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.

5. Approve and authorize January 2023 vendor invoices for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.

6. For council consideration, discussion and possible approval:

a) Possible approval of a mobile home permit for 803 7 th Street.

b) Approval to purchase a new 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic from Jansen Ford utilizing the state bid specifications.

c) Resolution 01.17.23; A resolution to Execute Agreement with Brown & Roberts, Inc.; 500,000 Gallon Pedesphere Elevated Water Tank Painting.

d) Pay request; Brown & Roberts, Inc. for the IEPA fully grant-funded (study only) for possible sewer in Edgewood in the amount of $15,000.

e) Ordinance 1598; Amendment to zoning ordinance #778 for the City of Carmi, Illinois 201 Stewart Street.

f) Symetra Stop Loss Insurance loan renewal for February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024.

g) Jason Adams to address the Council regarding allowing chickens within the City limits of Carmi due to increase in the price of eggs.

8. Reports from Standing Committees.

9. Business or comments from visitors.

10. Closed Session to discuss litigation with no action to follow.

11. Adjournment
