SIC VOLLEYBALL ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF FAIRFIELD HS SENIOR
Southeastern Illinois College volleyball coach Jon Watts announced the signing of an in-state standout over the weekend.
Kaylee Barger, a 5-foot-8 outside hitter from Fairfield High School, will play for the Falcons next season.
“Kaylee has a wealth of volleyball experience at a very high level,” Coach Jon Watts said. “She is a great competitor and will be an awesome addition to our offense.”
Her offensive ability led the Fairfield Mules to success throughout her high school career including a 2022 regional title. As a senior Barger recorded 131 kills, 195 digs, and 20 aces in 64 sets played.
“Kaylee has great court awareness and can put the ball away on her attacks,” Watts went on to say. “We are excited to welcome her to the SIC Volleyball Family.”
The Falcons compete in the very competitive Great Rivers Athletic Conference as a part of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
