City of Carmi City Council met Feb. 21.

1. Call to order by Mayor Pollard, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Roll Call.
3. Approve February 7, 2022, Council Meeting Minutes
4. Approve January 2023 Financial Reports for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.
5. Approve and authorize February 2023 vendor invoices for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.
6. For council consideration, discussion and possible approval:
a) Permission to seek bids for the fairground reconductor project
b) Resolution 02.21.23; A resolution removing the retiring City Treasurer from City Accounts.
c) Resolution 02.22.23; A resolution appointing the Assistant City Treasurer as City Treasurer for the City of Carmi.
d) Pay request Brown and Roberts, Inc. for the Grant Administration of the Rebuild Illinois Portion of the Hillsdale area project in the amount of $16,500.00.
e) Pay request Brown and Roberts, Inc for the runway repairs in the amount of $18,001.38.
f) Appointment of Cathy Seiler to the Library Board to fill the term of Dee Ann Maurer, who resigned, which will expire on July 31, 2023.
g) TIF Façade Grant request for Special Effects (Steve and Sherri Duckworth) for $4677.50
