The Board of Education of Allendale School District #17, Wabash County, Illinois, met in regular session on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. The meeting was held at the Allendale School, 101 N. Third Street, Allendale, IL. The meeting was called to order at 6:04 PM.
The following members were present: Ryan Andrews - Entered at 6:10 PM

Absent was Jon Michael Deisher.
Also, present was Superintendent Bob Bowser and Assistant Principal Cindy Brogan.
APPROVE CONSENT AGENDA
Richard Gochenour made the motion to approve the Consent Agenda as follows: Minutes of the Regular Meeting held Wednesday, December 21, 2022; Financial Reports – Treasurer’s Report, Activity Fund, Imprest Fund; Gross Payrolls, and Bills exclusive of Payroll. Upon said motion being seconded by Tia Morgan, President Gary Buchanan put the question and the roll being called, the following members voted:

ADMINISTRATION –
Superintendent Bob Bowser gave updates on the following: Financial Update - 1% Sales Tax $9,512.59 payable in February for October 2022; Expenditures for the month: Education 165,859, Building 8,277, Transportation 6,140 with a 3-Fund Total of 180,276; Sports - First Volleyball game is January 31; Facility Update - Heat Running, Brian Miller will be back to put in two new circuit boards, S.K. Smith gave an estimate to put in two new electrical boxes; Transportation - None; Other - Breakfast/Lunch Report for December was a slow month due to field trips etc, but in good shape.
Assistant Principal Cindy Brogan shared with the board about working with one word challenge with each grade level; 30 kids are using tutoring this semester.

SUPERINTENDENT EVALUATION
Tia Morgan made the motion to approve the Superintendent evaluation as presented. Upon said motion being seconded by Ryan Andrews, the voice vote was taken and the motion carried.
APPROVAL OF CERTIFIED SENIORITY LIST FOR 2022-2023
Richard Gochenour moved to approve the Certified Seniority List for 2022-2023 as presented. (copy in board pack) Upon said motion being seconded by Tia Morgan, the voice vote was taken and the motion carried.
RESOLUTION - TAX LEVY ABATEMENT
Richard Gochenour made the motion to approve the resolution for the tax levy abatement. Upon said motion being seconded by Beth Etzkorn, the President put the question and the roll being called, the following members voted:
