I) Call to Order by: Mrs. Rhonda Felty at 6:30 p.m.
II) Roll Call by: Mr. Clay Nolen
Present: Charles Burnham, Isaac Craig, Rhonda Felty, Clay Nolen, and Kassi Reeves.
Absent: Scott Figg and Ryan Lewis.
III) Recognition of Visitors
Ms. Melissa Williams, Mrs. Beth Horn, and Mr. David Klope.
IV) Closed Session

Motion to move to closed session at 6:31 pm for #9, 10, and 14 from the closed meetings act (see attached) by Mr. Nolen, 2nd by Mr. Burnham.

V) Action on Closed Session Items
A) Motion: The suspension from school of student #0228202308 is ratified by this Board of Education and that: Student #0228202308 is expelled from the Carrier Mills-Stonefort Community Unit School District #2- Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School for unsafe actions. The expulsion is for a period of time beginning Monday, February 27, 2023 and ending Friday, July 31, 2023. During the period of student #0228202308’s expulsion from school, student #0228202308 shall not enter upon school grounds, attend any home or away school event or participate in any school activity of any kind. The Board shall hold the expulsion described in the foregoing in abeyance conditional upon student #0228202308’s successful attendance at the Norris City LAB School.
