The majority of students in White County schools were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 2,270 students attending White County schools, 94.4% were white. multiracial students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 2.1% of White County students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in White County, representing 95.8% of the student body.

Lincoln Attendance Center had the most even distribution of races among county schools, including 91.1% white students and 5.4% multiracial students.

In the 2021-22 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county dropped 1.2% when compared to the previous year.
