CONSENT AGENDA 

1. Accept checks from the Hamilton County Health Department for the month of August, 2023.  Salaries: $8,863.50 Fringes: $765.55 Insurance: $1,206.86. 

2. Accept check # 6008659 in the amount of $417,591.48 from Hamilton County Coal, LLC for the  product of lease dated 12/01/2007 and 11/01/2008. 

3. Accept check #AC4456177 in the amount of $15,018.50 from the State of Illinois for the  reimbursement to the election authority in accordance with the FY23 IVRS grant. 

4. Approve FY 23 Third Quarter Claim in the amount of $6,606.56 and the FY24 budget submitted  by Dr. Beth Rister, ROE District #20 Superintendent. 

5. Accept check # 44461 in the amount of $4,166.67 from the City of McLeansboro per the Central  Dispatching agreement for the month of August 2023. 

6. Review the Hamilton County Unit #10 1% school facilities tax schedule in the amount of  $52,039.75. 

7. Review the Hamilton County Public Safety Tax Payment received in the amount of $52,100.33.  This is liability MO- June 2023, Collected MO- July 2023 Vouchered MO- Sept 2023.

NEW BUSINESS: 

1. Discussion and possible approval: The 2023 Courthouse Holiday Calendar. 

2. Discussion and possible approval: Date and details for a potential County Surplus Auction. 

3. Discussion and possible approval: Location reservations for the 2023 Courthouse Christmas  Party. 

4. Discussion and possible approval: The request from the Hamilton County Senior High Pyramid  Staff to purchase an ad in their 2024 Yearbook. 

5. Discussion and possible approval: The request from Nathan Rowland with Rocking For A  Cause (a Not For Profit Illinois Corporation) for a Special Event Liquor License. Event to be  held November 1, 2023. 

6. Discussion and possible approval: The FY22 Circuit Clerk Audit Report as prepared by Scheffel Boyle. 

7. Discussion and possible approval: Accept check # 53526722 in the amount of $11,495.50 from  IPMG for the fire damage on the Highway Department’s 2001 International Dump Truck to be  deposited in ______________________.  

8. Discussion and possible approval: Ordinance #2023-6 allowing a portion of the 1% Public  Safety Tax to reimburse the County for 911 dispatch. 

9. Discussion and possible approval: The letter from Window World to Paducah requesting the final payment of $10,000.00. 

10. Discussion and possible approval: A one-time payment of $3,000 from the ARPA fund to help  support the Trade Industries recycling program. 

11. Discussion and possible approval: The Claims List, Late Claims and Highway Claims with  signatures of approval. 

HIGHWAY RECOMMENDATION 

12. Discussion and possible approval: Resolution #2023-15 for the Dahlgren Rd project. 

13. Discussion and possible approval: The Preliminary Engineering Services Agreement for the  South Twigg Township Bridge 07-11116-00-BR in the amount of $2,777. 

14. Discussion and possible approval: The sale of the County property located in the SW Quadrant of  1800 N and 600 E.
