The Board of Education of Allendale School District #17, Wabash County, Illinois, met in special session on Monday, October 23, 2023. The meeting was held at the Allendale School, 101 N. Third Street, Allendale, IL. Vice-President Beth Etzkorn called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM.
The following members were present:
Gary Buchanan
Beth Etzkorn
Richard Gochenour
Eric Haines
Tia Morgan
Ryan Andrews and Miles Marcotte were absent. Also present was Supt./Principal Bob Bowser.
GO TO CLOSED SESSION
Richard Gochenour moved to adjourn to Closed Session at 8:32 AM - Reason - List Number(s) #1 - Appointments, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees. Upon said motion being seconded by Eric Haines, the President put the question, and the roll being called, the following members voted:
Yes: Gary Buchanan No: None

Tia Morgan Absent: Ryan Andrews, Miles Marcotte

Richard Gochenour moved to reconvene from Closed Session at 8:43 AM. Upon said motion being seconded by Eric Haines the President put the question, and the roll being called, the following members voted:

RESIGNATION - AUDREY MCGEE (3RD GRADE TEACHER)
Richard Gochenour made the motion to accept the resignation of Audrey McGee, 3rd grade teacher, as of November 3, 2023. Upon said motion being seconded by Beth Etzkorn, the President put the question and the roll being called, the following members voted:

Tia Morgan made the motion to adjourn the Monday, October 23, 2023, Allendale Community Consolidated School District #17 Board of Education meeting at 8:45 AM. Upon being seconded by Eric Haines, the voice vote was taken and the motion carried.
