City of Carmi City Council will meet Feb. 20.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

1. Call to order by Mayor Pollard, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Roll Call.

3. Approve February 6, 2024, Council Meeting Minutes.

4. Approve January 2024 Financial Reports for the City of Carmi and Light and Water Departments.

5. Approve February 2024 invoices for the City of Carmi and Light and Water Departments.

6. For council consideration, discussion and possible approval:

a) Ordinance No. 1617- An Ordinance Amending Liquor Control Ordinance No. 1519

b) Ordinance No. 1618- an Ordinance Amending Ordinance Nos. 1573, 1426, 1083, 1324, and 942 (water tap on fees)

c) Ordinance No. 1619- an Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 943 (sewer tap on fees)

d) Ordinance No. 1620- an Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 1427 (electric tap on fees)

e) Ordinance No. 1621- an Ordinance Repealing Ordinance No. 1071 and Adopting Building Codes for the City of Carmi, Illinois

f) Ordinance No. 1622- an Ordinance Amening Ordinance No. 1370 Establishing Building and Demolition Permit Fees for Businesses in the City of Carmi

g) Resolution 02.20.2024- A Resolution to Close the HCP for the City of Carmi Account at First Bank
