City of McLeansboro Township Board met May 14.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The May 14th, 2024 Township board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Clydus Gray. The meeting was held at the McLeansboro Township building. There were no public comments.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting

Minutes from the April 2024 meeting were read by the Clerk. As there were no corrections to be made, a motion to approve the minutes, as written, was made by Kyle Ingram and seconded by Dennis Johnson. Motion carried.

Old Business:

- Annual Budgets: The 2024-2025 annual operating budgets for both the Township and Road District, which were tentatively approved at the March 2024 Township meeting, were provided to the Board for final review and approval. After discussion, motion to approve both the Township Budget (Ordinance 2024-1) and the Road and Bridge Budget was made by Bob Brockett and seconded by Kyle Ingram. Motion carried.

New Business:

There was no new business to discuss.

Monthly Claims:

- Road and Bridge Fund, Building and Equipment Fund and Permanent Road Fund claims were provided for review. Motion by Dennis Johnson and seconded by Kyle Ingram to pay those bills. Motion carried.

- Town Fund and Social Security Fund claims were also presented to the Board. Motion by Bob Brockett and seconded by Dennis Johnson to pay those bills. Motion carried.

There being no further business to conduct, motion to adjourn was made by Bob Brockett and seconded by Dennis Johnson. Motion carried
