Today is National Mascot Day, a celebration of the personality and spirit that mascots bring to schools, companies, teams, and more. In recognition of this day, one Illinois resident expressed pride in their local mascots: "As a proud Lancer, Patriot, Saint, Illini, and Saluki," they stated.
