CONSENT AGENDA

1. Accept checks from the Hamilton County Health Department for the month of May, 2024. Salaries: $9,213.00 Fringes: $965.01 Insurance: $1,199.81

2. Accept check # 45881 in the amount of $4,166.67 from the City of McLeansboro per the Central Dispatching agreement for the month of May 2024.

3. Accept check # 6010004 from Hamilton County Coal, LLC in the amount of $7,774.80 for the product of lease dated 06/01/2009.

4. Accept payments totaling $7,120.00 from the top bidders of the 2 Highway Department Trucks for sale by bid. Highest bidder of the F150 – Daniel Flannigan $1720.00. Highest bidder of the Red Dump Truck – David Sutton $5500.00.

5. Accept check # AC5566529 in the amount of $3,835.00 from the State of Illinois for reimbursement of Election Judge pay for the March 19, 2024 General Primary Election.

6. Accept check # AC5585116 in the amount of $10,003.00 from the State of Illinois in accordance with the FY2024 Voting Registration System Grant with the State Board of Elections.

7. Review the Hamilton County Unit #10 1% school facilities tax schedule in the amount of $49490.68.

8. Review the Hamilton County Public Safety Tax Payment received in the amount of $49,648.03. This is liability MO- Mar 2024, Collected MO- April 2024 Vouchered MO- June 2024.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Discussion and possible approval: The County Clerk’s Semi-Annual Report (December 1, 2023 through May 30, 2024) with signatures of approval.

2. Discussion and possible approval: The request from Southern 14 Workforce Investment Board to make a decision to approve or disapprove of their PY24 Allocated Funding Submission.

3. Discussion and possible approval: Ordinance #2024-06-01 amending Ordinance #16-2021 Covid Leave Policy.

4. Discussion and possible approval: the Claims List, Late Claims and Highway Claims with signatures of approval.

HIGHWAY RECOMMENDATION

5. Discussion and possible approval: Estimate from Gibbs Construction in the amount of $10,722.00 for work to be done on the breakroom in the shop building at the Webb Oil property.

6. Discussion and possible approval: Estimate from Kelly Electric in the amount of $6,000.00 for electrical work to be done for the breakroom in the shop building at the Webb Oil property.

7. Discussion and possible approval: Resolution #2024-06-01 to allow the use of RBI funds to reconstruct Water Tower Rd.

APPOINTMENTS

8. Approve the reappointment of Kelly Karcher to the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Board for a (3) year term which will expire on June 30, 2027.

9. Approve the reappointment of Jason Waier to the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Board for a (3) year term which will expire on June 30, 2027.

10. Approve the reappointment of Marilyn Cross to the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Board for a (3) year term which will expire on June 30, 2027.

11. Discussion and possible approval: Hamilton County EMA Coordinator contract.

12. John Chapman- Invitation to all Elected Officials and their spouses or guests to attend the Southeastern Illinois Regional Planning & Development Commission’s meeting hosted jointly by the City of McLeansboro and the County of Hamilton. The meeting will be held at the Big Red Barn in McLeansboro on July 16, 2024. Meal will begin at 6:00 p.m. with meeting to follow. Please RSVP to John Chapman or the County Clerk by July 10th, 2024 if you plan to attend.
