State Senator Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg) has been named a "Champion of Manufacturing" by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA). This recognition comes in light of his commitment to supporting policies that benefit manufacturers and the broader business community in Illinois.

The IMA's 2024 Legislative Report Card served as the basis for this award, highlighting lawmakers who consistently support Illinois’ manufacturing industry. The Report Card rates legislators based on their voting records on key bills impacting the state's manufacturing sector.

“It is an honor to be recognized as a ‘Champion of Manufacturing’ by the IMA,” said Senator Fowler. “A strong manufacturing sector helps drive our economy, creating jobs and opportunities for families across the state and Southern Illinois. I am proud to have supported our manufacturers and the thousands of employees in the industry.”

Senator Fowler demonstrated his support for Illinois' manufacturing economy with an 85 percent voting record.

“The Illinois Manufacturing community would like to thank Senator Fowler for his continued support of our industry and the thousands of women and men on shop floors across our state,” said IMA VP of Government Affairs Donovan Griffith. “The manufacturing community looks forward to continuing to work with Senator Fowler as we continue to grow jobs, strengthen our economy, and support families.”
