State Senator Dale Fowler | Illinois State Senator
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is seeking nominations for the 2025 Those Who Excel & Teacher of the Year Awards. The board aims to recognize outstanding educators, administrators, and school professionals who have made significant contributions to both public and nonpublic elementary and secondary schools in Illinois.
Applications will be accepted until October 15th. The awards are divided into seven categories: classroom teachers, early career educators (teachers with 1-4 years of experience), school administrators, student support personnel, educational service personnel, community volunteers, and teams.
All awardees will be honored at an annual banquet in the spring.
