Test expectations: How many students met or exceeded ELA IAR expectations in Allendale Community Consolidated School District 17 in 2022-23 school year?

In the 2022-23 school year, 40.5% of the students in Allendale Community Consolidated School District 17 passed the ELA portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 79 students in Allendale Community Consolidated School District 17 who took the ELA portion of the test, approximately 32 (40.5%) passed.

The percentage of Allendale Community Consolidated School District 17 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR increased by 8.6% compared to the previous school year.

Allendale Community Consolidated School District 17 roughly covers one school within Wabash County and has a main office in Allendale.

The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) assesses the progress of students in grades 3-8 in meeting the Illinois Learning Standards in English language arts and mathematics.

According to the 2024 Illinois Report Card, math proficiency among Illinois students in grades 3-8 remains below pre-pandemic levels, while reading performance has recovered. Meanwhile, 11th graders have experienced significant declines in both subjects, falling below pre-pandemic benchmarks.
