State Representative Patrick Windhorst (IL) | Representative Patrick Windhorst (R) 117th District
Local fire departments in need of funding for construction or rehabilitation projects may have an opportunity to apply for financial assistance. The State Fire Marshal has announced the availability of $5 million in grant funding for fire stations across the state. Departments interested in applying must submit their applications by February 28, 2025.
Eligibility for these grants requires compliance with NFIRS Reporting guidelines. A list indicating which departments currently meet these requirements will be available during the application period.
