City of McLeansboro Township Board met Dec. 10.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

On December 10th, 2024, the regular monthly meeting of the McLeansboro Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Clydus Gray. The meeting was held at the local Township building.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting

As requested by the Supervisor, minutes from the November 2024 meeting were read by the Clerk. As no questions or corrections were made to those minutes, a motion to approve them, as written, was made by Becky Cross and seconded by Bob Brockett. Motion carried.

Old Business:

- Supervisor Gray said the third tax levy check, totaling $30,540.36, has been received and deposited. Tax receipts, to date, total $519,074.08.

- The final 2024-2025 tax levy, as approved at the November Board meeting, was presented to the Board for final inspection. As no further changes were required, the levy will be filed with the County Clerk this month.

- A short overview of the December 3rd caucus was given by Richard Woods. When completed, the final “Certification of Ballot” will be submitted to the County Election Authority as required.
