“I have been honored to serve the people of southern Illinois as State Representative. I take this privilege very seriously, and I am grateful to my constituents for the opportunity they have given me,” Windhorst stated. He also acknowledged his family's support, saying, “I am thankful also to my wife Holly and to my two children, who support me every step of the way. The State of Illinois faces many critical challenges, and I am ready to get to work to help solve problems and make life better for the people I represent.”
