Illinois Treasurer announces photo contest for students to capture state's agriculture

The Illinois Treasurer's Office has announced the launch of the Cream of the Crop Photo Contest. This initiative is open to students aged 8 to 18 and aims to capture the essence of Illinois agriculture through photography.

Participants have until June 13 to submit their entries. Each student can submit up to two photos online at the provided website. The contest is structured into three age groups: 8-10, 11-14, and 15-18.

Winning submissions will receive Bright Start scholarships in the amounts of $1,000, $500, and $250, awarded to the top three winners in each age category.
