CONSENT AGENDA

1. Accept checks from the Hamilton County Health Department for the month of May, 2025. Salaries: $9,659.67 Fringes: $1,037.25 Insurance: $1,199.81

2. Accept check # 47229 in the amount of $5,000.00 from the City of McLeansboro per the Central Dispatching agreement for the month of June 2025.

3. Accept check # 6011589 from Hamilton County Coal, LLC in the amount of $356,894.35 for the product of lease dated 11/01/2008 and 6/01/2009.

4. Review the Hamilton County Unit #10 1% school facilities tax schedule in the amount of $59,094.77.

5. Review the Hamilton County Public Safety Tax Payment received in the amount of $59,376.68. This is liability MO- Mar 2025, Collected MO- April 2025, Vouchered MO- June 2025.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Discussion and possible action: Courthouse bathroom renovations.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Discussion and possible approval: The County Clerk’s Semi-Annual Report (December 1, 2024 through May 30, 2025) with signatures of approval.

2. Discussion and possible approval: Ordinance #2025-06-01 pertaining to Hamilton County Battery Energy Storage Systems.

3. Discussion and possible approval: the Claims List, Late Claims and Highway Claims with signatures of approval.

HIGHWAY RECOMMENDATION

4. Discussion and possible approval: To allow the expenditure of up to $_________________ from the Coal fund to treat additional Oil & Chip roads not budgeted in the MFT.

5. Discussion and possible approval: Approval of the Phase I & II Engineering Services Agreement for Structure #033-3190 over Shelton Creek Drain with Hutchinson Engineering.

APPOINTMENTS

6. Approve the reappointment of Terry Drone to the Sotheastern Illinois Regional Planning & Development Commission for a (3) year term which will expire on June 21, 2028.

7. Approve the reappointment of Kenny Aydt to the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Board for a (3) year term which will expire on June 30, 2028.

8. Approve the reappointment of Greg Muehlenbein to the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Board for a (3) year term which will expire on June 30, 2028.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

From John Chapman- Invitation to all Elected Officials and their spouses or guests to attend the Southeastern Illinois Regional Planning & Development Commission’s meeting hosted jointly by the City of McLeansboro and the County of Hamilton. The meeting will be held at the Big Red Barn in McLeansboro on July 16, 2025. Meal will begin at 6:00 p.m. with meeting to follow. Please RSVP to John Chapman or the County Clerk by July 10th, 2025 if you plan to attend.
