City of McLeansboro Township Board met July 8.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The regular monthly meeting of the McLeansboro Township was held on July 8, 2025 at theTownship building located at 105 Carpenter Street. There were no public comments.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting

The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Clydus Gray who asked for the reading of theJune 2025 minutes. As there were no corrections, the minutes were unanamously approvedfollowing a motion from Kyle Ingram with a second by Becky Cross.

Old and New Business:

There was no old or new business to discuss.

Miscellaneous:

- Supervisor Gray said the new salaries for all elected Township officials, that were approvedduring the October 8, 2024 meeting, are now in effect and are reflected in currently issuedchecks.

- The Supervisor also noted that real estate tax bills have now been mailed and, the Townshipcould possibly begin receiving their share of the first installments during the month of September. This will obviously depend on the time needed by the County Treasurer toperformthe necessary calculaltions.

Monthly Claims:

- Road and Bridge Fund, Building and Equipment Fund and Permanent Road Fund claims werepresented to the Board for review. Motion by Becky Cross with a second by Kyle Ingramtopaythose bills. Motion carried.

- Town Fund and Social Security Fund claims were also presented to the Board. MotionbyDennis Johnson and seconded by Laura Renn to pay those bills. Motion carried.

With no other business to conduct, a motion to adjourn was made by Becky Cross and seconded by Laura Renn. Motion carried.
