Carrier Mills-Stonefort Community Unit School District #2 Board of Education met Aug. 5.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
I) Call to Order by: Mr. Derek Field at 6:01 p.m.
II) Roll Call by: Mr. Clay Nolen
Present: Jason Cochran, Phillip Dunn, Derek Field, Sky Fowler, and Clay Nolen.
Absent: Issac Craig.
III) Recognition of Visitors: None.
IV) Action Items
A) Adoption of Resolution Authorizing Honorable Dismissal of a Full Time Paraprofessional.
Mr. Jerrell explained that the Grade School was informed last week that an IEP student at the Grade School has moved out of our district. This student was assigned an individual aide, so we have informed the Grade School Paraprofessional that they no longer have a position within our school district.
Motion: I move to adopt the resolution authorizing the honorable dismissal of Ms. Jillian Crisp as a full time paraprofessional due to an unanticipated reduction in the student population.
Motion by Mr Cochran, 2nd by Mr. Dunn.
Roll Call By: Mr. Nolen
Aye: Mr. Cochran, Mr. Dunn, Mr. Field, Mrs. Fowler, Mr. Nolen.
Nay: None.
Absent: Mr. Craig.
