Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Clydus Gray who asked for the reading of the July 2025 minutes. As there were no corrections, the minutes were unanimously approved following a motion from Dennis Johnson with a second by Becky Cross.
Old and New Business:
There was no old or new business to discuss.
Miscellaneous:
Representatives from the Cemetery Board gave an update regarding a storm drain that has sunk to the point where it could present a problem for individuals either walking or driving inthat area. The primary concern, other than repairing the hole, is who has responsibility for ongoing maintenance of the drain. The drain itself sits outside the confines of the cemetery but, may be on the right-of-way of the nearby cemetery road that is owned by the Catholic church. In speaking with Russell Allen, a church trustee, he raised the question as to who might have originally installed the drain as the church had not done so. He suggested it may have been installed at some point by the city in which case they might have overall responsibility. Richard Woods said he had contacted the city and was waiting for someone to get in contact with him.
Monthly Claims:
- Road and Bridge Fund, Building and Equipment Fund and Permanent Road Fund claims were presented to the Board for review. Motion by Kyle Ingram and seconded by Becky Cross to pay those bills. Motion carried.
- Town Fund and Social Security Fund claims were also presented to the Board. Motion by Becky Cross and seconded by Dennis Johnson to pay those bills. Motion carried.
With no other business to conduct, a motion to adjourn was made by Kyle Ingram and seconded by Becky Cross. Motion carried.
