State Representative Patrick Windhorst recognized the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks by paying tribute to the victims in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
“Patriot Day is a solemn occasion to remember the lives lost in the terror attack on September 11, 2001,” Windhorst said. “Today is a day to honor the courage of first responders and the resilience of communities across the nation. We must never forget!”
Windhorst, a Republican, was elected to represent Illinois’ 117th House District in 2023, succeeding Natalie Phelps Finnie.
