Patrick Windhorst, Illinois State Representative for 117th District | Official Website
State Representative Patrick Windhorst participated in the 4th Annual Workforce Summit at John A. Logan College, an event organized by the Illinois Manufacturing Association and the Southern Illinois Workforce Development Board. The summit took place during National Manufacturing Month and focused on bringing together local legislators, college representatives, and manufacturing officials from Southern Illinois.
Windhorst emphasized the importance of such events for regional economic development. “I was honored to join Senator Terri Bryant and Representative David Friess as part of the John A. Logan College Workforce Summit. Events like these that support manufacturing and employment in our region are consequential to the future of economic development of southern Illinois,” Windhorst said. “We have a talented workforce, high-class educational institutions, infrastructure, and natural resources here in southern Illinois to be a national economic and manufacturing powerhouse.”
Windhorst has served as a Republican member of the Illinois State House since 2023, representing the 117th House District after succeeding Natalie Phelps Finnie.
