West Frankfort City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Approval of the minutes from the July 26, 2016 regular council meeting.

 

Approval to pay the bills.

 

Discussion, with possible action, regarding approval of a Class “D” liquor license application from Russell Oil company for a dine-in restaurant.

 

Discussion, with possible action, regarding a possible donation to Centerstone to replace awnings.

 

Discussion, with possible action, regarding a donation to Redbird Ready.

 

Discussion, with possible action, regarding a donation to Miner’s Memorial Park for a bandshell.

 

Approval to accept bids regarding the Cherry Street repaving project.

 

Discussion, with possible action, regarding removal of the underbrush along the right of way of West Frankfort Nall and action to increase visibility of mall.

 

Approval for payment of a bill from Greater Egypt Regional Planning & Development Commission in the amount of $2,045.50 regarding a request to appropriate funds for the commission’s October 2016-September 2017 operation year.

 

Discussion, with possible action, regarding approval to enter into a one time showing agreement with broker, NAI Desco, regarding the purchase of a portion of the West Frankfort Mall property.

 

Approval for payment of the annual fire reporting system for emergency reporting in the amount of $3,532.00 for the fire department.

 

Approval for payment of an invoice from Collier Appraisers Ltd. Regarding an appraisal report in the amount of $2,000.00 for the West Frankfort Mall.
