The Anna-Jonesboro Junior Wildcats Wrestling Club | Anna-Jonesboro Junior Wildcats Wrestling Club
The Anna-Jonesboro Junior Wildcats Wrestling Club and the Anna-Jonesboro Community High School wrestling team are setting a prime example for cooperation within the local community.
First, the high school team offered their assistance to the youngsters at the Junior Wildcats' On the Prowl wrestling tournament back in January.
The Junior Wildcats returned the favor by making a $500 donation to the high school team, which is part of a series of cash donations made to the program since 2010.
The Junior Wildcats also support the high school team by acting as a developmental league for future high school wrestlers. Young grapplers cut their chops and learn the ropes with the junior team before eventually filtering up to the high school level when they get older.
This season, the Junior Wildcats completed a banner year, winning their first-ever regional title since the team's inception.
