Hamilton County Community Unit School District 10 Board of Education met September 5. 

Here is the minutes as provided by the board:

The Board of Education of Hamilton County Community Unit School District No. 10 met


in a special session on the evening of September 5, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., in the Unit Office.

The meeting was called to order by Board President Dennis Lynch and Roll Call was as

follows: Present – Steve Becker, Bob Gray, Jeff Lueke, Tim Millenbine, Clint Ragan, Ellen

Rubenacker, and Dennis Lynch.

Motion by Lueke, second by Gray to convene to executive session at 7:05 p.m. to discuss

appointment, employment, discipline, compensation, performance or dismissal of a specific

employee or office of the public body pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1). Roll Call Vote – Voting

Yes – Lueke, Gray, Becker, Millenbine, Ragan, Rubenacker, and Lynch. Motion carried.

Motion by Gray, second by Ragan to come out of executive session at 11:05 p.m. Roll

Call Vote – Voting Yes – Gray, Ragan, Becker, Lueke, Millenbine, Rubenacker, and Lynch.

Motion carried.

Motion by Lueke, second by Becker to approve the minutes from executive

session. Vote was taken by voice and motion carried.

Motion by Gray, second by Ragan to terminate the employment of Troy Becker,

District Technology Director, effective immediately. Roll Call Vote – Voting Yes –

Gray, Ragan, Lueke, Millenbine, Rubenacker, and Lynch. Voting No- Becker. Motion

carried.

Motion by Rubenacker, second by Ragan to post for a District Technology

Director. Vote was taken by voice and motion carried.

Motion by Lueke, second by Ragan to adjourn the meeting. Vote was taken by

voice and motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 11:10 p.m.
