City of Albion City Council met Nov. 27.

The Albion City Council met for a workshop session on Nov 27, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Albion City Hall. Mayor John Henze called the meeting to order and led Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call – Pat Hemming, Eric Eirikson, Eric Schmidt, Kim Dostal. Jordan Hinkle absent. Hemming moved to approve the agenda and Eirikson seconded it. Motion passed 4-0.
Rhonda Guy from Professional Operations Management and Bob Veenstra from V&K Engineering led the meeting on preliminary costs of each option the City may take to satisfy the requirements from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). With much discussion it was proposed that Guy with help from Veenstra will send a letter to IDNR with these proposed options.
The Council opened the floor for input and questions from the public.
Schmidt moved to adjourn and Dostal seconded it. Motion passed 4-0.
Meeting adjourned at 8:04 pm.
