Wabash Community Unit School District 348 Board met Oct. 25.

PTO Yankee Candle Fundraiser was recently held by Fundraiser Chairperson, Joe Judge. Our students sold approximately $16,000 worth of Yankee Candle products
Emergency Personnel Meeting - all principals attended a meeting at the high School with area emergency personnel on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Safety remains an ongoing focus at Mount Carmel Elementary School.
Fire Safety Week - On Thursday, October 12, the Mount Carmel fire department held their fire safety drill. The fire department plans on coming in the next two to talk to the Pre-School and Kindergarten classes.
institute Day - On Friday, October 6, MCES teachers attended the District #348Teacher institute Day. items covered: Erin's Law, CPR and "Getting to Know your Students" by Mike Glover.
School Mall - on Monday, October 2, 2017, students took home the School Mall booklets for a fundraiser for MCES. Every completed booklet returned the school receives $2.25 and there is a bonus if 145 booklets are returned. Money will go into the general school fund to provide programs for the students. Booklets were due Thursday, October 5. We did not meet our goal this year for the bonus. We had approximately 125 booklets turned in.

October 17: Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
October 19; 3 hour early dismissal
October 19: Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
October 20: No school for students.
October 23: PBIS Meeting at 3:25 in the conference room
October 23: Grade Card Day for those who did not attend the conferences.
October 23 - October 27 - Red Ribbon Week - "My Future Matters" October 30; Rti Meetings
November 8: Faculty Meeting at 3:25 in Library
