Harrisburg Public Library District Board of Trustees met Nov. 20.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Harrisburg Public Library District was called to order by President Janet Jones at 5:04 pm. Those in attendance were Trustees Joe Ewing, Lynda Clemmons, Sally Wofford, Tammi Jackson, and Kelly Phelps. Also in attendance was Director Krystal Gulley.

Consent Agenda: A motion was made to accept the consent agenda as presented. The motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote.

President’s Report:

- President and Trustees Holiday House tours for future years.

- Christmas Bonuses for staff were recalculated and approved by Board with Motion being made by Joe Ewing.

- Art Reception was discussed there were approximately 35 in attendance for October.

- The Shakespeare group had 12 in attendance.

Committee Reports:

- Trustee Clemmons reported that there are only three open months for Brown Bag and Books in 2018.

- Building Committee – Roof repairs were under quoted but will cost the same as 2015.

Director’s Report:

- The October programs were discussed included the performance by guitarist peter Fletcher, Shakespeare Reading Group, Ray’s Crime Lover Book Club (42 Guests) and teen programs.

- The cleaning of the building was discussed.

- Roof Repairs were discussed.

- Baysinger Design was informed building project was on hold.

- Devona Morales was hired as a substitute.

- Discussed new signature cards for the bank accounts.

A motion was made by Trustee Ewing to adjourn at 5:58 pm.
