Mrs. Harrelson presented the Superintendent’s Report; FOIA request from Illinois Retired Teachers Association and one asking for collective bargaining agreements. March 6th is the IASB Egyptian Division Meeting at Mt. Vernon High School. New Hope with host a 7th grade traveling basketball tournament on March 17th and 18th. Illinois Science Assessment scores have been received after 2 years. New Hope scored just under the state average. We are hoping with our new science curriculum test scores will be higher. Senate Bill 851, property tax freeze, has died for the time. However, there is talk of a cost shift for TRS with New Hope’s portion to be approximately $22,000.
