Fairfield Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on June 28.
Fairfield Memorial Hospital provides the highest quality of patient care for their community and believes in providing others with access to this value of care. Recently, FMH donated money to provide two AED’s to the City of Grayville to replace their outdated AEDs, which help save lives.
“It is difficult to put into words how much The City of Grayville appreciates the generosity of Fairfield Memorial Hospital in donating two AED's to the City. By having these new units available for installation in our police vehicles, and accessible for use by properly certified individuals, Fairfield Memorial will save lives in our community. We cannot thank you enough for making a small town's day.” stated Sharon Walden, Grayville Treasurer.
“When the City of Grayville approached our hospital to ask for a donation to help purchase new AEDs to replace the outdated AEDs in Grayville, we were honored to be able to give back to the community in their time of need. To help improve the health and safety of people in our service area is the reason our hospital exists.” commented FMH CEO Kathy Bunting-Williams.
