FAIRFIELD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL: FMH honors staff for years of service

Fairfield Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.

Fairfield Memorial Hospital recently hosted a special luncheon to honor staff for their many years of service. Service Awards were given to those who have served as Fairfield Memorial Hospital Association employees for five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five and thirty-five years.

Serving FMH for five years are Timothy Brown RN, Med/Surg; Jennifer Smith RN, Med/Surg; Elizabeth Squire RN, Med/Surg; Whitney French RT(R)(CT), Diagnostic Imaging; Kelli Locey PTA, Therapy Services; Barbara Davis, Housekeeping; Ashley Carson MSW, Social Services. 

Those serving FMH for ten years are Emily Rush RN, Surgical Services; Laura Witherspoon CST, Surgical Services; Wendy Utley, Laboratory; Amber Morton CRT, Cardiopulmonary; April Best MS, CCC, SLP, Therapy Services; Staci Atteberry, Business Office; Kayla Hough, Payroll; and Amy Frymire RN, Horizon Healthcare. 

Serving for fifteen years is Regina Grubb, Business Office. 

Staff members that were recognized for twenty years of service are: Katherine Bunting-Williams, Ph.D., LNHA, Chief Executive Officer of Fairfield Memorial Hospital; Mary Knight, Executive Assistant; and Carla Dunahay PTA, Therapy Services. 

Those serving FMH for twenty-five years are: Merri Corbett-Mercer EMT-P, Emergency Department; Steve Balding MT, Laboratory Services; and Berlene Bakos, Business Office/Admitting. 

Kathleen Cropper of the Housekeeping Department was recognized for thirty-five years of service to the organization

Katherine Bunting-Williams, Ph.D., FMH CEO, stated, “Among these 24 employees there is a cumulative total of 300 years of service in our facility. These dedicated employees sacrifice so much to work in healthcare day in and day out for years and provide their best for this community. I am so thankful and proud to have such a hard working, dedicated, and skilled staff here at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.”
