Event Description:
The Leadership Development Wabash County Program is the premier Leadership Training Program for our area. It brings together a diverse group of existing and emerging community leaders and enables them to become resourceful stewards of the community.
A wide range of activities focus on:
personal awareness
leadership skills
Community Appreciation activities will include:
team building
economic development
city, town,county government
education
self-awareness models
leadership principles
skills
much, much more
Through these activities each member develops a comprehensive sense of our Wabash County.
Objectives
Those interested in participating in Leadership Development Wabash County will benefit from the program’s objectives including:
learning new leadership skills
creating community awareness
team building
creating stewardship opportunities
This is a program that commands commitment of time and relies heavily on a diverse group of participants from throughout the Wabash County community. It takes participants from business (all sizes), education, government, community organizations, and healthcare.
Location:
Classes will meet at varies location throughout the Wabash County, introducing participants to unique experiences. Sessions will be 9 am to 4 pm, lunch and snacks will be provided.
Expectations of the participants:
Attend each Session
"Be Here Now"
Participate/Support small group activities
Participate in large-group activities-ask questions, etc.
Provide honest feedback at the end of each session
Present an experience summary at Graduation

Participating in Leadership Development Wabash County is a privilege and should not be entered into lightly. The program only works with full commitment from participants. Classes will be held on Tuesday's from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and include a lunch/networking hour with sponsors, instruction, panelist discussions, business/community tours, and much more.
