Wayne County approved the only referendum on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The Lamard Fire District Question—"Shall the Lamard Township Fire Protection District dissolve and be consolidated into the Fairfield Rural Fire Protection District?"—was approved by voters.
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 351 approved and 190 opposed the measure.
